For me, each project I undertake demands a visual vocabulary specific to its own poetics, creative intentions and objectives. Previously, I have engaged with the creative process from the earliest stages – through research, devising and rehearsal to realisation of the performance/production. I can be a fly-on-the-wall, a camera mounted in the corner of the room, an active participant – as performer and artist, as observer, documenter and archivist and graphic designer. I enjoy the creative possibilities of all vantage-points as well as the challenges that each presents; each has its own unique parameters and potential, both for personal interpretation and for collective, collaborative exploration.
